SYNACK & MICROSOFT

JOIN TOGETHER

TO BUILD TRUST IN THE CLOUD

SYNACK HAS JOINED MISA

Synack, a premier platform for on-demand security expertise, announced that it has joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) and is available through integration with Microsoft Sentinel, giving enterprises globally seamless access to a worldwide network of top security researchers working around the clock to protect their cloud assets.

Becoming part of MISA, an ecosystem of independent software vendors and managed security service providers, builds on a growing collaboration between Synack and Microsoft and is a testament to both organisations’ commitment to providing easier, more flexible and scalable cybersecurity solutions.

What is the Microsoft Intelligence Security Association (MISA?)

Members of the Microsoft Intelligence Security Association (MISA) integrate their security solutions with Microsoft’s to increase visibility and better protect against threats. Extending Microsoft’s security capabilities across the security ecosystem is an added value to the shared customer base because it reduces the cost and complexity of integrating disparate security tools.

BRINGING THE POWER OF CONTINUOUS & ON DEMAND SECURITY MICROSOFT AZURE

Microsoft Sentinel is a cloud-native, Security Information Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration Automated Response (SOAR) solution designed to reduce unnecessary friction in the vulnerability remediation process. It also provides early threat detection and rapid response to sophisticated attacks to facilitate shorter resolution times and lower the number of security incidents.

Synack will deliver insights through its Microsoft Sentinel integration, enabling security teams to correlate these findings with Microsoft Sentinel data to gain end-to-end visibility, comprehensively investigate and take action on threats.

"Our integration with Microsoft Sentinel couldn't be more timely and important today as organisations everywhere are scrambling to find enough skilled practitioners to protect them against punishing cyberattacks. We help solve that talent gap with our platform that combines a powerful network of ethical hackers with the most advanced technology. We look forward to building on this important relationship with Microsoft."

SYNACK AND MICROSOFT SENTINEL WORK TOGETHER TO SPEED TIME TO RESOLUTION

Microsoft Sentinel is a scalable, cloud-native, single solution for intelligent security analytics, event management, threat detection, threat visibility, proactive hunting, and threat response. It helps provide early threat detection, and rapid response to sophisticated attacks to facilitate shorter resolution times and a reduction in the volume of security incidents in your Microsoft Azure cloud assets. Synack, now available on Azure Marketplace now provides a direct integration to Microsoft Sentinel for automatically creating Microsoft Sentinel incidents from Synack vulnerability testing data which helps shorten remediation and resolution times even further.

SYNACK AND MICROSOFT DEFENDER FOR CLOUD

A POWERFUL SECURITY PARTNERSHIP

Via Synack’s integration with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, you can have the results of your Synack penetration test automatically sent to and displayed in a Microsoft Defender for Cloud custom workbook. This means that security engineers and managers already familiar with Microsoft Defender for Cloud dashboards and displays don’t have to learn another tool’s display format to view and act on vulnerability information, which means faster validations and response.
